In India the interest in buying Tablet PCs has been becoming a fashion. So far we have seen the cheapest aakash tablet pc and bsnl tablet PCs news ranging below Rs.5500/-. Now one of the big brands in the mobile and tablet manufacture HCL also joins in this segment by releasing of 7999 and 11499 ranges of HCl ME u1 and HCL MyEdu tablet PCs. The HCL ME U1 and HCL MyEdu tab which run on android Ice cream sandwich Operating System with having 7 inch touch screen resistive.

The following are the features and specification of HCL ME U1:

  1. The forthcoming HCL ME U1 is powered by 1GHz processor with 7 inch display resistive touch screen and a resolution of 800×480 pixels.
  2. The drawback in this tablet PC is that it won’t have 3G it meant that one cant use this as a phone
  3. The Me U1 tablet sports 512 MB RAM and the external memory can be expandable from 4GB to 32 GB with front camera.
